Numbers we'll happily be held to.
From our internal reporting, audited each January. During a pilot you see the live dashboard instead — this page is the tidied-up version, names and all.
The numbers
Audited each January, warts included.
2.4m
conversations held since 2011
6.4%
decision-maker calls that became meetings, 2024
1,900
meetings booked last year
92%
of clients still with us after year one
The 6.4% is the honest number — it counts every decision-maker conversation, not just the ones we got lucky on. Some firms quote 30% by measuring something else entirely.
Case one · Logistics software, Manchester
Aerido — from a stalled SDR push to 214 meetings.
Aerido came to us after an in-house SDR push stalled: three thousand dials over five months, eleven meetings, and a pipeline that never quite filled. The problem wasn't effort — it was that nobody on the inside could spend four hours a day on the phone and still close.
We started, as always, with a four-week pilot on a single segment: mid-market 3PL operators across the North. Six weeks in, the data told us to stop targeting enterprise entirely — a decision Aerido's own board had been putting off for a year.
Fourteen months later, the pilot has never really ended. Same pod, same two callers, and a sales team that has stopped buying lists altogether.

Case two · Win-back, national insurance group
Marlowe — recovering £740k of quiet revenue.
Marlowe had 1,400 lapsed SME policyholders nobody had called in two years. The annual email win-back got a 2% reply rate and a reputation for being ignored.
We audited the lapse reasons first — most customers weren't unhappy, just unpersuaded — then called through the list over six weeks with a straight talk-track and an offer the account team had forgotten they could make.
The warm ones went straight back to Marlowe's own account handlers, with the reason each customer had left written down beside their name.

In their words
What clients say when we're not in the room.
We'd burned money on two agencies before Valence. The difference is their callers could pass for our own account directors — I've listened to the calls.
The weekly call is fifteen minutes, and I'd cancel other things before I'd cancel that. The numbers are good; the honesty is better.
They told us to stop after eight weeks — the segment was exhausted. Who does that? We signed the next campaign the same day.
Reporting
What lands in your inbox on Friday.
Every client gets the same weekly pack, pilot or ten-year account. It's written by the caller who made the calls, not assembled by software — and it's short enough that people actually read it.
It goes out at noon on Friday, after the floor stops dialling. Most clients say it's the only vendor email they read all week, which is either flattering or damning, and we've decided flattering.
What's in it
- Dials, conversations, meetings — held versus booked
- Pipeline influenced, with names you'd recognise
- The three most interesting things said on the phone this week, verbatim
- A recommendation — sometimes "change the segment", once "stop"
